I will start again because I had trouble with my computer and is hopefully solved now.
Our last day on the train van Kamloops to Vancouver. We had a very nice sunny day and lovely countryside. Enormous raging rivers and large woods and mountains, but since the day was clearer than before we could see more without the fire clouds. I ran from window to window to try and capture some of the scenes, I could do so because the seats in front of me were unoccupied.
We were told about a fur trader, Simon Frazer, who in the eighteen hundreds was very successful and was asked if he could go to the Pacific coast sand set up a fur trading station. After a hazardous journey, he arrived and tried to settle and start a business but the local population did not want him to do this and at end he left. He came to Murray Creek Falls. He had a fear of heights which did not help to climb and row the falls.
When breakfast was served we sat with a couple from Wales very entertaining. They were going to visit their son. At lunch time were seated with a couple from Ohio. All very interesting. We also saw two rivers which came together and we could see the them merging, one river with blue water the other with green water. We were told and shown the various old and new tunnels for the railway and bridges as well.
